Locality Quiet residential location away from roads. Villamartin Plaza is across the street and includes a variety of bars and restaurants plus a small 'Spar' type supermarket selling most goods. Within 5 minutes walk is a commercial centre which includes further shops, bars and restaurants and a bank with ATM facilities. The town of Torrevieja is 20 minutes away by car. There are large Supermarkets available within easy reach by car and a large open street market each Saturday at nearby Playa Flamenca.

Further Afield Villamartin provides a good base to strike out for some of Spain's most famous cities-Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Cartagena spring to mind but there are many other places of interest such as La Manga, Orihuela, Elche, Torrevieja and Denia.

Sun The Costa Blanca has a sunshine record that speaks for itself and is regarded as the sunniest place in this part of Europe. On average there are 6 hours of sunshine in January rising to 12 hours in July and August. The winters are mild with average day time temperatures of 16 degrees (C) rising to 32 degrees (C) in summer. It is not uncommon to see people sunbathing on the beach in January and February.

Golf Information This area is renowned for a wealth of golf amenities that can be enjoyed all year round in the warm climate. Within 10 minutes there are three 18 hole courses. The Villamartin course is within walking distance of the apartment with Lomas de Campoamor and Las Ramblas de Orihuela courses slightly further afield.
