1. What happens when I make a reservation?
Before you book your accommodation please check the
availability page to see whether the accommodation is available for the
period in which you wish to stay. Once you have verified that the
accommodation is available, email your booking request to
bookings@villamartingolfrentals.co.uk and once this is received we
will confirm that the booking has been made.
A confirmation email will be sent to you showing details of your booking
and the balance of monies owing. Please check these details carefully to
ensure it reflects what you intended to book. If intended departure is
within 8 weeks, then the total cost is payable in full at the time
of booking.
2. Do you guarantee the price?
Yes - The price you see at the time of booking is the
price you will pay.
3. How do I book, what do I pay . . . and
when?
The person in whose name the booking is made acts on
behalf of all other persons named, must be over 18 years of age and
becomes responsible to us for all payments in respect of the booking.
Your reservation will be confirmed upon payment of a deposit of £100. We
allow 7 days from confirmation of the booking for the deposit monies to
reach us. If after that period monies have not been received, the
reservation is cancelled. The balance must be received by us at least 8
weeks before your departure date. Please note that you will not receive
a reminder that final payment is due. Please also ensure you send
payment in sufficient time for us to pay-in and clear your payment
through your bank, otherwise your booking will be cancelled, and you
will be liable to pay cancellation charges as shown in condition (6).
For all bookings made within 8 weeks of departure, the reservation is
confirmed as soon as a verbal confirmation is given over the telephone
or via email. Therefore if you subsequently cancel your booking,
cancellation charges as shown below. Full payment for the holiday must
be made at the time of booking in order to secure the reservation.
4. What happens if you change my holiday?
In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel your
reservation, which would only be due to damages to the property, we
would offer you the opportunity of changing your accommodation dates at
no extra cost i.e. if your cancelled reservation was during low season
and you re-booked for high season you would not have to pay anything
extra.
If you do not accept the offer to change your dates, we would refund to
you the full amount paid and if the cancellation is within 55 days of
your departure date a cash refund would also be paid as detailed below:
| Period before Compensation |
Refund Amount |
| 0–14 days |
£30 |
| 15–28 days |
£20 |
| 29–55 days |
£10 |
5. What happens if I change my holiday
plans?
If you wish to change your reservation in any way,
and we can accept the change, the following charges will apply.
Timescales refer to the date of receipt of your instructions in writing,
and cancellation charges are detailed in Condition (6).
More than 56 days before departure – £15 per change.
Less than 56 days before departure – Cancellation charges apply.
Please Note:
(i) No changes are allowed from a full price reservation to a special
offer reservation.
(ii) If a booking is changed the price will be taken from the rental
rates valid at the time of original booking.
(iii) No changes are allowed from one season to another i.e. from a low
season to a high season, or from one year to the next. This would be
treated as a cancellation and as such, the cancellation charges as
detailed in Condition (6) would apply.
6. And if I cancel?
If you wish to cancel your reservation, this must
be done in writing from the person in whose name the reservation was made, and
sent by Recorded Delivery. In the event of cancellation or part cancellation,

be inspected by the property management company and assuming everything is as it
was when you arrived, the €10 will be returned to
